We are currently seeking a highly experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our knowledgeable and professional team based in beautiful Hawke's Bay.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will be responsible for providing accurate payroll services across the Group using the dynamic Zambion Cloud payroll system. Meticulous attention to detail and an unflappable professional nature are key to this role. You will also have strong experience in processing complex payrolls, understand and be able to interpret relevant legislation while being committed to performing with high levels of accuracy and working within defined timelines.
In addition to payroll, the role will encompass other accounting work such as bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and commission calculations. Candidates must have strong Excel skills. While a background in the hospitality sector is not a prerequisite, relevant experience will be a distinct advantage as will a knowledge of the Opera property management system.
